Be an Advocate for Dermatology in Wisconsin
SAVE THE DATE. Believe it or not, the 2023 WDS Legislative Day is right around the corner – and we need YOUR participation to successfully advocate for the practice of Dermatology in Wisconsin. We are excited to announce Legislative Day is scheduled for Wednesday, March 29, 2023, in Madison, WI (with the exact location to be determined).
The FREE one-day event provides WDS members with a unique opportunity to build relationships with state lawmakers and educate them on critical issues impacting Dermatology and the delivery of quality health care.
As you know, public policy decisions made at the State Capitol have a significant impact on the practice of medicine across the Badger State. That is why it is increasingly important for WDS physician members to have a strong voice in the legislative process, especially as the physician community and health care environment in Wisconsin faces numerous challenges.
Legislative Day will allow participants to network with physician colleagues, hear from key policymakers, and participate in in-depth policy briefings and advocacy training. They will also have a chance to meet with their legislators in the State Capitol to discuss important policy issues that impact Dermatology.
