Community Outreach Committee Project
|
For our spring community outreach event, the Wisconsin Dermatological Society (WDS) is excited to partner with the Lussier Community Education Center, a vibrant community hub in Madison dedicated to fostering connections and providing essential resources to local families. For over 40 years, Lussier has supported the community through educational programs, food assistance, and partnerships that promote well-being and equity.
Lussier has shared that their community would greatly benefit from personal care donations, and we are organizing a dermatology-related supply drive to support this need. We are collecting the following items:
We encourage everyone to participate in this meaningful initiative!
Physical donations can be dropped off at Madison (next to Nan Yang’s desk, adjacent to room A7020 at 1SP), Milwaukee (in the Hub in the microscope room) and Marshfield (in the common kitchen area across from Aimie’s office).
Monetary donations are also welcome and can be made online by Saturday, April 26th here.
The Madison team will coordinate delivery of all donations to Lussier after the WDS meeting on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
Thank you for your support in helping us make a difference in our community!
Sincerely,
